This last week I?ve been back to commuting to work each day on my Optibike. The highs have been in the upper 90?s and even low 100?s. Mornings haven?t been too bad but we have had some especially hot days this last week so riding home at the end of the day has been exhilarating! I?ve been riding around at lunch time too and its been plenty warm then as well. Keeping plenty of water with me for the rides. Its not even the hottest time of summer yet!
A few days ago I came across another snake while riding along a road with no real bike lane. Here is a picture of it. Can you identify the type?
I think it had been trying to cross the road but some vehicle decided to put an end to that idea. At least it didn?t smell bad like the flat skunks I see around here all the time. I usually don?t make a habit of picking up skunks for photo opportunities so don?t be expecting one of them any time soon.
